Gerald Muller

Gerald Muller is a multi-skilled physiotherapist with a keen interest in Sports and orthopedic Physiotherapy.

He went to Grey High School before attending Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, where he gained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1998.

He then went on to complete a second degree, specialising in Physiotherapy, at the University of Cape Town in 2003 before pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sports Physiotherapy.

His belief in providing patient-centered, individualized care has led him to continuously pursue ongoing education , and strengthen his skills for patient assessment and treatment.

He spent some time doing community service for the military, building a strong background in the medical side of the Physical Therapy profession and then began working at the Sports Injuries Centre at the University of Cape Town, where he assisted athletes in gaining back maximum functionality after suffering injuries. He was involved with Bishops College for 16 years where he assisted the school to set up an adolescent focused wellness monitoring system and managed adolescent injuries.

He has currently moved his practice to the Vineyard Hotel where he believes that working with Chris van Loggerenberg and his Fitco fitness team, will provide the synergy and holistic care, that is required to provide optimal Physical therapy.

His education and experience provides a high level of clinical competency that he applies to every patient. He will evaluate your condition, and build a program that is designed to not only address your pain, but to carry your recovery through returning to the profession, sports, and activities you love.

Gerald Muller also has extensive field side physiotherapy experience and has worked and travelled with a number of sports teams since 2003. He also has spent some time working abroad and believes that this has added value to his professional approach, in the new venture with FItco.

When he is not with his patients at his practice, Gerald enjoys spending time with his family. He leads a very active lifestyle and participates in endurance multi-sport disciplines.
